give the choice of a system tray display color
On my system the system tray background color is grey. The color of the temperature data is light green. The contrast between these 2 colors is difficult at best to read. Many users would benefit If you could add a section in the program settings area to change the system tray display colors.

link to hard drive spec. data
It would be great if you could have a feature that when the user would click on their particular hard drive from within the program it would link to a database (or website) showing the normal (or acceptable) operating temps.

Add RAID Controller Support
I have yet to find a Windows disk-monitoring program that can read SMART data from a drive on a RAID controller.
My motherboard has a RAID controller built in. I keep the hard drives on the RAID IDE controller, and the CD/DVD drives on the regular IDE controller.
I am able to read SMART data from the RAID controller using DOS programs, but not in Windows.

Make it compatible with Windows 7
I'm running Windows 7 64-bit, and when starting HDDTemp4, I get the error "The parameter is incorrect". Not much to go from, and thus no drive shows up to look at.
Please Fix, since Windows 7 is now standard on new computers. Thanks.7 votes -

Thanks for the reminders(s)
So - I was gonna buy the full version - but when the software reminded me 6 times in the space of about 4 minutes - I just uninstalled it. Ridiculous...
